This is google Earth

Google Earth lets you fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings, from galaxies in outer space to the canyons of the ocean. You can explore rich geographical content, save your toured places, and share with others.
Google Earth 5 features:

  • Ocean floor and surface data from marine experts
  • Simplified touring with audio and voice recording

Step 1 - find a partner

Step 2 - choose a feature found in Google Earth

  • Check the user guide (linked above)
choose a "cool thing" or "New Feature" for Google Earth v.5
Follow the instructions/directions carefully at least TWICE before you continue

Step 3 - Create a screen cast using Quick Time X highlighting / explaining the feature

* on you screen cast BOTH partners must participate

Give your names, class, school name and location

When you are done - email the video to Mr. Lewis
